Hi there! I’m a communications specialist

and content creator based in Frederick, MD. I'm

passionate about strategic storytelling and

community-driven work.

I currently serve as the Development & Communications Coordinator at Hagerstown Community College, where I support the College Advancement Office through donor engagement, fundraising communications, and the creation of marketing materials and print collateral. I also lead the development of an annual communications plan to ensure strategic, consistent outreach across channels. I love crafting tailored content that connects with audiences and helps inspire the generosity that funds scholarships and transforms students' lives.

 

Before transitioning into the nonprofit and higher education space, I spent seven years as a High School English and Journalism Teacher at Urbana High School in Ijamsville, MD. Advising the school newspaper and yearbook sparked my love for writing, graphic design, and running creative campaigns. Those years taught me how to tell compelling stories, connect with people, and pay attention to the little details—all of which I now bring to every project.
